“I was not born in the wrong body, I was born in the wrong society.” Josseline Aguilar, a Mexican activist, tells her story and also that of other trans women through a monologue.

Director Biography
Madrid. Director, producer and co-writer of the documentary shorts Confluencias (Goya Award 1999 Best Documentary Short), Positivo and Ventanas (nominated to Goya Awards 2000 and 2017). Director of documentary Este included in long feature Four cardinal points. From 2003 to 2019 is responsible for the Film Department in the Madrid region. Pilar has coordinated film festivals such as Semana del Cortometraje or Animadrid, professional meetings, film workshops and various film events. She also writes narrative and has a blog (www.lacalledelavida.com).
