We don’t program bloopers or BTS gag reels. We’re interested in films that give audiences something to talk about.
We don’t just stack films into screening blocks. We build conversations.
Films are programmed thematically into provocatively named blocs that put unexpected works into conversation with each other. Every screening is hosted by a Queens World team member and followed by an engaged, filmmaker-centered Q&A.
Our audiences show up ready to watch, listen, respond and connect.
And the festival doesn’t start when you arrive.
Accepted filmmakers become part of a robust pre-festival season built to connect you with fellow filmmakers, industry allies, media and potential collaborators, with opportunities for interviews, promo shoots and press engagement along the way.
