Director Biography

Fernando Bonelli raised in the audiovisual media leading Globo Media´s artistic department. In 2003 he founded Bonelli & Asociados, a company specialized on advice and legal support in the artistic field, and, a few years later, Consuelo Films and Mayfield Pictures. Manager from 2011 to 2017 of the Almagro International Classical Theater Festival, since November 2019 he is the Director of Artistic Production of the Teatro Español and the Naves del Español en Matadero. In 2017 he finished his first short film, “[Still] love you”, obtaining different national and international awards. But it is his second short film, “Planet Earth calling Ana”, which has taken him a step forward. Finalist for the 2020 Goya Awards, the film has won more than 115 national and international awards, including the Golden Roel and Youth Award at the Medina del Campo Film Week. He is currently taking the first steps of pre-production of what could be his first feature film.
