Kelly Negrete Armendariz

Prior to his current professional work as a designer of residential architecture and interiors, Kelly founded StudioKOA, a boutique design studio specializing in storefronts, branding, graphic design, and scenography. Additionally, he founded and curated work for Splatterpool artspace — where he collaboratively produced several years of exhibits for emerging artists and filmmakers, with a focus on LGBTQ+ voices. Kelly’s studies in and love for architecture, neuropsychology, and music have converged in ways that always inform his approach to design and art. He hails from New Mexico and West Texas, and today calls Jackson Heights and Marfa his hometowns.
