Each year, the Queens World Film Festival pays tribute to outstanding filmmakers, artists, or community leaders who have displayed leadership as well as a maverick spirit. This year Queens World is proud to be awarding multiple “Spirit of Queens” Awards.
The presentation will be followed by a screening of six films celebrating, ‘Remarkable Women.’

Join us for a special evening as Queens World presents the Spirit of Queens Award to Sandra Schulberg, for her contributions to independent cinema and her tireless work to rescue and restore extraordinary indie films. The award presentation will be followed by a screening of FILMMAKERS FOR THE PROSECUTION by Jean-Christophe Klotz, which Schulberg co-produced. The film was recently restored and is distributed by Kino Lorber.
