Director Statement

A man. A woman. An afternoon that could make all the difference.

It is a story about arriving at the end of something once held dear, and who we become in the face of letting go.

Director Biography

Sean Patrick Folster is making his film directing debut with The Visit. He is happy to be back working with Eric Maierson again, having acted in a successful run of Eric’s play Reprise in NYC. Last year, Sean directed and starred as John in the New York revival of Conor McPherson’s play Shining City at the Paradise Factory. As an actor, Sean has several television credits, recurring as Claude Devlin on Season 3 of City On A Hill with Kevin Bacon and Aldis Hodge, and as Squatch on the lone season of Dispatches From Elsewhere with Jason Segel and Sally Fields, among many others. He has appeared in over 15 films, most recently Lie Hard on Amazon Prime, and as eccentric zillionaire Simon Malador in Ken Forman’s soon-to-be-released web series New Moon. In addition to acting and directing, Sean is a teacher, owning and operating his own acting studio, The Folster Studio, for twelve years. He resides in the Bronx, NY.
