Director Statement

Adrian Drepaul, our main subject, said he wanted to tell the story of his incarceration in a way that felt human, hopeful, and lighthearted – not the downer sob story people expect to hear from a former incarcerated person. By telling his and Cazzie’s story through the food they made together inside, I believe we achieved that goal.

Director Biography

Brent Lambert-Zaffino is a filmmaker and festival programmer living in Atlanta, Georgia. His latest feature as a Writer/Director, Lost Cause, is currently on the festival circuit.
