Director Biography
Paula Hung (any pronouns) is a screenwriter, director, and producer based in Washington DC and New York City. A Queer first-generation Venezuelan-American artist, Paula deeply values organically and authentically telling marginalized people’s stories to build the multifaceted, joyous body of work they deserve. Combining their passions for activism and storytelling, they hope to create media that is transformative, accessible, and representative of our world.
Paula has frequently worked with the DuKode Studio developing, writing, and editing the upcoming animated anthology “The Great Tit is a Bird.” They have also previously worked as a development intern with the award-winning One & Other Productions and are an active participant in Ryan Reynold and Blake Lively’s Group Effort Initiative program.
