Synopsis

When Bobbi brings her longtime girlfriend, Lily, to her mother’s funeral, her sister Joanne is horrified. She insists that their mother would have been equally offended by her sister’s bisexuality, and that her insistence on “displaying” it at her funeral is an affront to her memory. When Bobbi reveals that their mother, in fact, already knew that Bobbi was bi and was completely ok with it, Joanne is forced to reckon with the fact that she can’t distance herself from the beliefs she herself holds by blaming them on the generation before her.
