Director Statement

I made Sinai as a response to the constant barrage of antisemitism that every Jew experiences just by living. Post any picture of Jewish life, Jewish experience, Jewish anything online and there will be more than a few comments declaring you at fault for some unhinged conspiracy. Go to a synagogue and note that every single one has a security guard. Gather for a Jewish holiday, and eye every door and window — you never know when a madman is going to show up and wreak vengeance on whatever insane thing he’s read on Reddit.

It’s exhausting. It wears on the soul… and so, I made this: pulled straight from my somewhat tired, Ukrainian-Jewish refugee soul. I hope you enjoy.
