Director Biography
The Thiele Brothers have been making films together since childhood. Inspired by filmmakers such as the Coen Brothers, Jacque Tati, and Richard Linklater. The Thiele Brothers create visual stories that revolve around characters that are real and gravitational in unique worlds set in the environment of the concrete and plant overgrowth that is the American rust belt.
With short films screening at Austin Film Festival and winning the inaugural Hollyshorts Screenwriting Contest, they have put time into studying the craft of image based storytelling and have done so in a guerrilla shot shoestring budget feature length picture.
Their hobbies include painting, planting, basketball, music, animation and going to the theatre.
