Synopsis
When free-as-a-bird bisexual Eliana questions giving up the “D” at her ex-boyfriend’s funeral, her girlfriend Chase must decide how far she’s willing to go for love.

Director Statement
Lesbophilia is a modern dark comedy that flips limiting stereotypes on their head. Stimulating, provocative, and unquestionably vulnerable, this short film explores the complexity of relationships and gets to the heart of what we all deeply crave – love and acceptance.
Without taking itself too seriously, Lesbophilia reminds us that “normal” relationships, and the labels we apply to them, are still just fragments of the imagination.
Director Biography
Michelle is a member of the Directors Guild of America, Women in Film, and Alliance of Women Directors. Her recent short film, Cosmic Love, won Best Womens Empowerment Film at the San Diego International Film Awards and has been an official selection at numerous festivals. Michelle is also in post-production on her period drama short film, Lineage.
