Zain Sheikh is a Pakistani fiction writer, who grew up on the sandy dunes of Dubai. He completed his MA at Leeds University, UK and worked as a brand manager for the Middle East. Zain’s passion for writing and the arts began at a very young age and after a decade-long involvement in the Dubai theater scene, he finally made the big move to New York to follow his dreams of screenwriting.

Today, Zain works with a prominent Tony award-winning Broadway producer. Having laid his roots in NYC, he strives to deepen his role in the arts community and invest his energies into the neighborhood of Jackson Heights — which he now proudly calls home. Inspired by his love of Queens, he is currently working on a compilation of short stories that focus on its POC communities, with a touch of queer magic.
