We have an audience for your film. Queens World wants to hear from you.

The Queens World Film Festival runs November 5–9 at the Museum of the Moving Image and Kaufman Astoria Studios. 

We curate thematically, grouping films into provocatively named blocs that explore similar ideas. Each screening is hosted by a festival supporter who leads dynamic Q&As between filmmakers and our loyal audiences.

Expect a robust pre-festival season, with events to connect you to our community, fellow filmmakers, industry allies, elected officials, and collaborators.

We kick off with a potluck party where the dishes reflect the films in the lineup. We’ll preview trailers, shoot live promos, introduce you around, schedule interviews—and eat great food!

Then our Queens World Presser brings filmmakers and media together. Both events happen in early October, alongside photo ops, promo shoots, and interviews designed to amplify your festival experience.

We’re looking for well-crafted films that take risks. We want to be challenged. We love a Queens Premiere.

We do a Q&A after every screening.
