Gy Mirano is a New York actress, voice-over artist, and arts advocate originally from Argentina. Her artistic performances include film and TV, voice-overs, audiobook and documentary narrations, theater, and spoken word. Her recent voice work includes creations for the Ad Council, New York Lotto, and Comedy Central.
Gy’s cultural initiatives and performances have been presented at the Americas Society, Poets House, New York Botanical Garden, Cervantes Institute, and the Consulate of Argentina in New York. As a professional who excels in her field, and as a well-established actors’ advocate, she was invited to become a teaching artist at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, and she currently serves on the National Audiobook Steering Committee. An activist in media labor relations, Gy is dedicated to promoting and protecting artists’ work.
Gy is thrilled once again to be a juror at the iconic Queens World Film Festival and to contribute to the fulfillment of its vital commitment to the art of filmmakers.
