Naelon Velazquez
FESTIVAL ASSOCIATE | 2023 INTERN
Naelon Velazquez is a young adult multimedia creator and a student at Queensborough Community College. He serves as both a student and a teacher’s assistant for the Film and Media Production major class.
Filmmaking has been his passion since middle school when he met Don and Katha Cato, who introduced him to the world of filmmaking. Since then, he has been involved in numerous film productions. He has produced over 50 listening tours, worked as an action choreographer, written scripts, acted, and directed various films.
Currently, he is working on a film series called “Vortex Requiem,” with the first episode featuring the Banana Suit Killer. Naelon has taken on multiple roles in this series, including writer, director, choreographer, and prop creator. He is also involved in other projects, such as “Bucketman III,” where he acts and choreographs, and “Earth Angel,” where he serves as the action choreographer.
