Kai Zhang is a Queens native, growing up with a love for arts and food and he has been working with the festival since summer of 2022. He is a rising first-year student at Yale University, studying Computing and the Arts. At Yale, Kai is part of the Chinese American Student Association and Design for America, learning human-centered design and how to build impactful communities. He has recently found a fondness for making zines (“little magazines” you could say) and photography. To put it simply, for Kai, it has always been about embarking on adventures and telling stories that matter.
