Synopsis
The women’s surf community in Tofino is a unique as British Columbia is remote. The annual all female surf contest Queen of the Peak was started by women and is a testament to the grit and determination of the women who live there.

Director
Ryan Struck: I am a self-taught New York based photographer and director. Earning a BA in History taught me to investigate and learn about global events, culture and people. In that same spirit, photography and filmmaking allows me to be curious about the world and what surrounds us. I enjoy recording poignant moments through a visual medium; I love what I do.
