Synopsis
Reese meets with his sister Shelley reluctant to reveal his greatest secret. Shelley reassures him that fear is not a sign a weakness.

Director
Erika Santosuosso (Co-Director/Producer) is a filmmaker at Shakedown Productions. Her most recent short “Cake” (writer/producer) was selected for seven film festivals, and was a favorite at YoFi Fest 2018. Alongside her partner in crime, Alex Rose, she will be unleashing a fantastic two-season webseries this coming year. She lives for collaboration and for work that is poignant and heartfelt.

Filmmaker’s Note

By Adam Griffith: There are such important stories to tell, many of them never come to the surface. After my brother Emmett came out and let the family know he wanted to start his female to male transition, my mind began to wander into his past. There was honestly a bit of guilt on my end: Had I been there for him in the ways he needed? What sort of struggles was he dealing with when I was concerned with my own? This film is inspired by Emmett, for Emmett, and for similar stories that need a voice.
