Synopsis
A trans woman gets involved in a drug deal to help her boyfriend that was recently deported.

Director
Antonio De La Cruz grew up in New York City. He came from the Dominican Republic when he was four years old. He majored in Communications (Filmmaking) and Theater arts at the City College of New York. “107 Street” his 1st feature film premiered at the HBO New York International Latino Film Festival. “Salsa Lessons” his 2nd feature won several awards at the Park City Film Music Festival. His 3rd feature “The Children of Hip Hop,” won a special award at the Queens World Film Festival and Best USA Feature at the Latino Market Film Festival. He recently finished his 4th feature called “Three from the Block.” He completed his 5th feature film called “Mataré,” composed of three vignettes or stories that are interconnected. He will start shooting in October 2019, his 6th feature called “Television Star.”
