Lyndsay can’t find her way without her smartphone. Maybe some strangers on the streets of NYC can help?

Director
Tom Capps is an award-winning writer/producer from Queens, NY. He has also worked as an editor, director, actor, sound mixer, art director, camera operator, gaffer, cook, driver, animal wrangler, basketball referee, journalist and really just too many things. He co-founded Thursday Shoots and has created content for Funny or Die, Collegehumor, truTV, UCB Comedy, Above Average, FiOS1, Child Care Works and NASA. He has an ever growing collection of cacti, two cats, drinks way too much coffee and hates listing credits almost as much as writing about himself in the third person.

Filmmaker’s Note

When Phil and I met Janelle and Shannon at a film festival, the four of us hit it off and knew we wanted to work together. Shortly after, Janelle came up with the idea for I’m Not Lost! I thought the script was very fun, the cast of characters was interesting, and was immediately able to envision a fun shooting style with lots of camera movement. When I was heading to our first meeting my phone died and I didn’t know where to go, and I realized just how relatable this kind of situation could be. I also liked the idea of running around New York City and making something fun with my friends, both old and new. Our cast was amazing and up for anything and so was our crew, who I am truly grateful for and forever indebted too. If you’ve ever been somewhere, had your phone die, didn’t know what to do and accepted help from a clown, this is the movie for you!
