Easmanie Michel

Director, Artists Programs and Finance

She is currently the Director of Artists Programs and Finance at NYWIFT, where she manages the fiscal sponsorship program, works closely with the CEO and treasurer on budgeting, financial reporting, audits, and day-to-day financial operations. She also co-produces the Muse Awards and Designing Women and curates the Hamptons International Film Festival’s NYWIFT Filmmakers Calling the Shots showcase. Michel has worked in film and television since 2004, with credits including The Transporter, Miami Vice, Hoot, Miami Ink, Burn Notice, and CSI: Miami. She is currently producing the feature Caroline’s Wedding, which she co-wrote. The script has been recognized by the NYU Fusion Film Festival, Women at Sundance Financing and Strategy Intensive, the American Zoetrope Screenplay Competition (Grand Prize), and the New Renaissance Film Festival, and received a New York State Council on the Arts individual artist grant. She holds an M.A. in Cinema Studies from New York University and is currently completing a certificate in financial accounting at NYU.
