Hello, my name is Cheloize Logmao and I am currently studying neuroscience in high school. I’m Filipino-American, born and raised in Queens, and love balancing the arts and culture in my life with the sciences, and Queens World Film Festival allows me to do that freely. More than that, I love supporting and giving back to my community, especially in a way that supports artists and the people who share my interests. I have loved the visual arts since I was younger. I believe art is unique as an abstraction of the beauty life has to offer, and I enjoy exploring it through an appreciation of paintings, films, and literature. To me, being a part of this organization is simply an extension of that.
