Leila Ribeiro is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in New York. She joined us as our Marketing & Promotion Intern in 2019. Her responsibilities include writing and editing website content, upgrading outreach and database management systems, and conducting research for marketing and publication. She also helped edit promotional slideshows, interviews, and videos for QWFF’s 10th Anniversary. As a current senior Fine Arts Major at LaGuardia High School, Leila has an avid passion for photography, film, sustainable fashion, activism, spatial interaction, and experimental expressionism. She gets inspired by creating innovative designs combining texts and pictures for videos and community service projects such as co-producing LaGuardia’s Radio Show, Discombobulated, to support the community during the pandemic.
