Anita Raswant
Venue Manager and Festival Associate Coordinator
Anita has been with Queens World since 2016 working as a Venue Manager, Festival Associate Coordinator, and an active member of the Cato fan club. She is passionate about giving a voice to those who are underrepresented on and off the screen. She has festival-hopped for several years, with stints at Tribeca Film Festival, Hamptons International Film Festival, DOC NYC, Philadelphia Film Festival, and more. She is currently the Short Film Programmer and Program Manager for the Nantucket Film Festival. Anita grew up in Rome, Italy but has been a loyal Queens resident after graduating with a B.A. in Sociology from St. John’s University. From script to screen, she loves all aspects of filmmaking, including talking about herself in the third person.
