Kris Sorbie is a world-renowned hair stylist, global educator, and industry pioneer best known as the original creator of the Ombré hair coloring technique, which she developed in 1996. Over a career spanning more than 50 years, she has achieved legendary status within the professional beauty industry, heavily influencing modern hair color trends and education.

She is a two-time winner of the prestigious North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) Master Hairstylist of the Year, and her fashion and media work includes working as the lead stylist for both New York and Los Angeles Fashion Weeks.

Over the past five years, Kris has produced a feature documentary, and a series of documentary short films about artists in the Coachella Valley in California. She is currently developing two other documentaries.
