Diana Azizova
2023 INTERN
Diana Azizova is an incoming undergraduate freshman in the Macaulay Honors College at Baruch College, who is interested in pursuing business & psychology during college. Diana’s passions span from digital creation to marketing and production, having taken in a lot of roles and experience as a public relations/social media manager. Diana is also passionate about social justice/civic engagement and has been involved with YVote, a youth-led organization aiming at increasing youth’s participation in politics, for many years. Diana also has a strong interest in the public sector, having served as a grade leader and a treasurer in her high school’s student government team for all four years & interning at an assembly woman’s office. Diana also has a strong background in researching/writing as she has graduated from an academically intensive humanities school, has successfully completed a rigorous AP Capstone Diploma program at her high school, as well as having interned as a Investigative Reporting Intern at the City Limits News Organization.
Overall, Diana is excited to join the Queens World Film Festival and learn more about what the film industry has to offer. She is also excited to work on the Listening Tour, which she thinks is a perfect opportunity to represent and give a voice to her neighborhood, Rockaway Beach. Diana is thrilled to expand her connections as well as having to embark on new challenges, such as connecting and forming new relationships. Diana can’t wait to see her culminating work and is excited to leave her mark with the Queens World Film Festival.
