Andi Reiss is a British documentarian, investigative journalist, screenwriter, visual artist and educator who has spent nearly thirty years asking questions — often when it might have been easier, more profitable or considerably more diplomatic not to. He regards these disciplines not as separate territories, but as different languages for examining the same thing: how we understand and represent the world around us.
His work is independent, socially engaged and occasionally uncomfortable, placing journalistic integrity, creative independence and compelling storytelling ahead of commercial expediency.
As an educator, he encourages emerging practitioners to master the tools, understand the rules and then ask the rather more interesting question: why? Andi and his wife, Kris Sorbie are currently based in Palm Springs, California.
