Queens World: Who We Are
The Queens World Mission
Queens World film festival became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2014 and advances public participation in film screenings by utilizing traditional and alternative screening locations and venues to screen independent cinema. Through the implementation of educational programs, we provide opportunities for individuals to share ideas and develop analog, digital, visual, and performing arts projects.
Queens World Film Initiative, Inc. programs are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and by New York City Council Member Shekar Krishnan and the Department of Youth and Community Development.

Since our opening, we have screened 2,109 films from 98 nations including 36 films by NYC School Children. Help us bring the world to Queens and Queens to the world!
