Synopsis

Rapidly running out of life-saving insulin, diabetic GREG must hitch a ride from Brooklyn to Canada with his (recent) ex-fiance MARI. As Greg spirals, dangerously neglecting his health, he’s carried along by an eclectic group of fellow healthcare refugees (THE CARAVAN) in search of hope. Or medicine. Ideally both.

Director Statement

As a filmmaker, Jeff emphasizes a story-forward, sustainable process that encourages collaboration and mutual growth. CARAVAN is a perfect expression of that ethos – a celebration of what can be accomplished leading with love and rigor against all odds.

Director Biography

Writer/Director Jefferson White is a Brooklyn based actor and filmmaker from Iowa. He is a SAG award nominee for his work as troubled cowboy “Jimmy” on YELLOWSTONE and can most recently be seen in A24’s CIVIL WAR and the indie EILEEN. He has portrayed dozens of characters alongside Oscar and Emmy winning actors and has worked with directors including David Fincher, Alex Garland and Jordan Peele. CARAVAN is his first film as writer/director.
