David Woon is a director of light and shadow, originally from Queens, New York. His work centers on interrogations of reality and is driven by the principles of “ecstatic truth.” He is a graduate of the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California and was a recipient of a Tribeca Film Fellowship. During his time in Los Angeles, Woon worked in the production office of BratTv, creating short-form episodic content. He also helmed a web series for KyraTv that garnered an average of 350k views per episode. His credits comprise a range of short films, music videos, and commercials for high-profile clients and brands, including Universal Music Group, Ultra Music, Nike, Foot Locker, Le Labo, and Saks Fifth Ave. When he’s not on set, you can catch him at your local climbing gym.
