In May 2025, CUNY invited Queens World Film Festival Executive Director Katha Cato, Artistic Director Donald Preston Cato, and alumni filmmakers Catya Plate, Antonio Tibaldi, and Neha Gautam to record a live studio conversation about the festival, their films, and the evolving independent film landscape. The featured works were screened on the CUNY TV Presents YouTube Channel alongside other selections from Queens World for the month of May 2025, extending the life of these films well beyond their festival runs. Now rebranded as Frame by Frame, the series remains committed to championing independent filmmakers and strengthening artists’ ability to speak about their work. Queens World Film Festival is proud to be included in this growing digital library and honored to be one of only 22 film festivals featured in the series.
