Tiya Sadek started at QWFF in 2023 as a Festival Associate helping to prepare the April 2023 Passion in Action event. Tiya is a Junior at The Churchill School and Center where she takes multiple film classes. She is also a member of her school’s cross country team and sometimes volunteers with JHBG. She has always enjoyed making and watching films, especially comedies and horror. To date she has several short films completed and is working on more. When Tiya leaves high school she will major in film and is excited to be on the 2025 Queens World Screening Committee.
