The Queens World Film Festival, New York Women in Film and Television, Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, The Gaia Zine and Epicenter – NY proudly announce PASSION in ACTION, a day-long mentoring event to bring high school and college students together with Passionate Professionals in the Arts, Sciences, Finance, Women’s Sports, Nonprofit Sectors and More.

The morning session of this day long event will concentrate on developing personal professionalism related to the arts including developing a mission statement, compiling ideas on how to promote your work and creating your back pocket networking tool kit. The afternoon is devoted to a round robin speed networking event so that all attendees have the opportunity to spend 30 minutes with 3 different Passionate Professionals.

Audrey Seybert

Director/Segment Marketing at CAIS

Audrey Seybert is a financial services / fintech executive with broad global marketing experience in building client focused infrastructure, assets & improving ROI. As Director of Segment Marketing at Capital Integration Systems (“CAIS”), Audrey oversaw marketing efforts for Enterprise, Fund Sales, Structured Solutions and CAIS IQ business lines. Additionally, Audrey served on the Management Committee and completed Thayer Leadership training (West Point).Prior to joining CAIS, Audrey was the Head of Intermediary Marketing at BNY Mellon Investment Management and the keynote speaker for the “Knowing Women” program, designed to increase financial literacy and investment across demographics. While at BNY Mellon IM, Audrey was awarded the “Sales Business Partner of the Year” award, was named a Brand Ambassador and appointed to the Employee Engagement Action Team designed to improve productivity and morale. Before her tenure at BNY Mellon IM, Audrey worked in a number of Marketing & Communication roles at Mirae Asset Global Investments, including 3 years in the International Headquarters based in Hong Kong. Audrey began her career in financial services on the Global Strategy Equity team at Citi Investment Research in a role covering marketing and media relations across regions and investor segments.Ms. Seybert earned a B.S. in Entrepreneurial Studies at the Marshall School of Business, and an M.A. in Strategic Public Relations at the Annenberg School for Communication, both at the University of Southern California. She was the Assistant Professor for the International Communications Studies Program and holds her Series 7 and 63 licenses.

Any education is a bonus! Don’t get pressured into picking your life’s work too early. Just learn and connect with others.

Never pass up an opportunity to network, connect, befriend, learn, pay it forward, and ASK for help!
