Ebony Young

Ebony Young is a seasoned executive leader with over 25 years of experience spanning the nonprofit, private, and government sectors. She has held senior leadership roles at globally recognized institutions including the City of New York, the YMCA of Greater New York, TF Cornerstone Real Estate Developers, national incarceration reform initiatives, and the Black Entrepreneur Initiative.

Known for building high-performing organizations, Ebony has led complex operations to peak efficiency across leadership development, wellbeing, technology, youth engagement, and large-scale systems reform. Her work consistently bridges strategy with human-centered execution, producing measurable outcomes and long-term impact.

Ebony currently serves as Queens Deputy Borough President, where she is credited with launching New York City’s first fully operational global tech and innovation center. She has also collaborated with internationally recognized cultural leaders, including LL Cool J, on initiatives addressing mental wellbeing and leadership among men and boys.

A trusted voice in global leadership spaces, Ebony has served on numerous boards, task forces, and advisory committees, contributing to initiatives that impact youth, adults, seniors, entrepreneurs, creatives, athletes, and environmental advocates. Ebony holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Indiana State University and a Master’s degree in organizational leadership from Indiana Tech. In addition to her executive leadership, she is a dynamic motivational speaker and certified life coach.
