Juan Mite is a 20 year old film student at LaGuardia Community College and is excited to be a Festival Associate at Queens World Film Festival which is his very first internship. He will be learning alongside emerging filmmakers while experiencing the process of bringing short films to life while witnessing people share their stories about hope and resilience. His goal is to become a Cinematographer and Filmmaker to tell the stories that people often ignore. He is interested in telling stories that focus on cultural identity, stories about the everyday quiet struggles that many experience.
