Jenni Matz

Jenni Matz is the Director of the Television Academy Foundations’ The Interviews: An Oral History of Television. Along with producing The Interviews, Jenni works to enhance use of and access to the Interviews, including licensing the footage to documentary filmmakers.

Previously, Jenni was the producer of the American Comedy Archives at Emerson College, a collection of in-depth video interviews with comedians spearheaded by comedy legend Bill Dana. She worked for over 20 years in documentary television as a producer, editor, and researcher, including work on the award-winning American Experience documentary Hoover Dam, a 16-part series on American literature for Annenberg CPB, and as a Line Producer for Diane Sawyer. She is also an award-winning documentary filmmaker of the rock-u-mentary “Rye Coalition: The Story of the Hard Luck Five.
