Regina Katz is a filmmaker born and raised in Forest Hills, Queens. She obtained her BFA in Communications & Visual Media from Richmond, the American International University in London. As a result of studying abroad, Regina has had many opportunities that have given her a fresh perspective on digital media in the globalized world. Fascinated with how people are affected by and interact with media from an early age, she is looking forward to continuing her work in the entertainment industry as she believes it to be the best way of spreading ideas and reaching people. She is delighted to have joined the Queens World Film Festival 2012 because she is passionate about supporting independent filmmakers and making sure that their stories are told. She is also happy to be part of the vibrant Queens Film community.
