Laurence Hoffmann
Laurence Hoffmann established Wildside Media in 2005 to create cutting-edge art projects in music and film. Among Wildside Media film productions are the documentary “Come Si Fa a Non Amare PierPaolo Pasolini: Appunti Per Un Romanzo Sull’Immondezza” by Mimmo Calopresti (event at Auditorium Roma 2005), the documentary “I Only Wanted To Live” by Mimmo Calopresti, coproduced with Steven Spielberg’s Shoah Foundation and Rai Cinema and RTSI (event at Auditorium Roma and special event at the Cannes Film Festival 2006), the documentary “Torino è La Mia Città. Le Olimpiadi” for the city of Turin and the Museo del Cinema, the documentary “Luigi Pintor” by Stefano Grossi, the experimental short film “Blow Up: Omaggio a Michelangelo Antonioni” by Alessandra Bergero (screened at Mostra d’Arte Cinematografica in Venice 2007), the short film “Caterine” by Pappi Corsicato for FMR (2008) and the documentary “Rumore Bianco” by Alberto Fasulo (competition Festival dei Popoli, Florence 2008). She has worked at MonteCinemaVerita’ Foundation in support of filmmakers from Africa, Asi, latinAmerica and Eastern Europe) and at Cinecitta’ Studios in Rome to invite and supervise international productions on the stages. During her time in Europe, she has participated as a jury member or as a speaker at several international film festivals (Locarno, Rio De Janeiro, Nantes, Tessaloniki, Sarajevo, etc.). In 2009 she moved to New York City. She creates documentaries and experimental films to be published on Wildside-Media.com and youtube.com and works as consultant for international film co-productions and sales.
